Eco-friendly makeup advice

1 – Use reusable makeup brushes and applicators.  You can find quality makeup brushes at Sephora and Mary Kay Cosmetics.  They can be washed with makeup shampoo.  I recommend washing them after each use to not have bacteria build-up.

2 – Purchase compact that can be “refilled”. Companies such as Mary Kay and Stila have pancake-style makeup that can be ‘popped’ into their customizable makeup compacts.  So you buy the compact for life.  There is less to throw away.
